Eel Trap results 2012

Just done the audit of results and its 123 so far

I have checked the trap at Molesey.
4 eels between 150 - 160mm
2 crabs deceased

If anyone can do midweek post it up, I am on nights so not before Friday

I can do it midweek unless any else wants to do it.

Not around for a couple of weekends or so but will be able to do the weekend checks again from about 3 weeks time.

Checked the trap today,
3 eels @ 100mm, 1 eel @ 180mm
5 crabs deceased
Do you want me to do the weekend.

Keith and I will do Saturday.

Apart from one abortive attempt when the key couldn't be found, I haven't actually done one yet.

Ok mate fine, the key is on the bottom row second from the right.

there is a wasps nest just were Pauls head is, so be carful, you can't miss it, lots of wasps flying in and out, out of the wall that is

has anyone done the trap today, if not do you want me to do it tomorrow

Popped down a bit earlier on my way through so no worries, 1 x 80mm, 1 x 110mm

Needs looking at on the weekend if you are around mate

I can do it at the weekend unless anyone else wants to do it.

Me and mike would like to do at weekend if poss as we not around next weekend. Let me know.

Good morning everyone


It’s the home straight now for the eel monitoring. We shall be hanging up our waders and shutting down our traps on September 28th ( all except you Richard!) and I’m delighted to say that all your efforts have produced some very interesting data. I shall be reporting on the data you have produced when we meet on October 19th at London Zoo.

Some sort of zoo activity for those that wish to have a look round after lunch.
