| while doing me bit at barnes, left me sun cream and hat at home , 16 fisher-persons, not aloud to say fisherman, as I am a very "PC" correct person , the first thing i noties was there was no mud, not like last year, got home still mud free, the bell started them all off at 1159hrs, as we had to wait for the tide to go down so that all pers, got at least 30mins set up time, the first fish of any size took 45mins, a nice 5Ib bream, one person under barns bridge lost over 20 hook lengths, all pers started off with the feeder, and as time went on, some went on to float, only one pers, went on to use a 18m pole, only 2 people out of the 16, did not catch anything, one pers managed to get a nice bream of 4Ib, 2mins before cut off time, the winning weight was around 32Ibs for barns, all good size bream, 3 chub, a few roach, and only 3 dace, all fish were a good size, the bigist bream was around 8Ib, I got relegated to stand on the main base at the rounderbout while the boss shoot off and took lot of pics, while I was there for 5hrs, I had to ansure all the question on what was going on in a very "PC", way, hand out leaflets, and inform the generall public, "YES", there are fish in the Thames, wot type, size, can they be eaton, things like that, more info later, have to take me son to london | |
