| Hello from a very wet, windy and cold N Yorks. The Ure is as low as I've ever seen it , even during the height of summer, but hoping today's rain should spark the grayling into some action over the next few days. Anyhow, could someone make sure Neil put the plug back as I'd like there to still be some water in the Thames when I return: | |

| Cold but good day, numbers were down given the conditions but still very enjoyable. Thanks to all who helped and came along, couldn't do it without you. The number of people out generally was low and much lower than seen before but still managed to engage with non anglers, a few watching the Pike being handled. A good old fashioned TAC day Special mention to Neil and Jeff for giving the talks and Neil getting a few cuts from handling the Pike. Jeff spent much of a freezing Saturday catching some for us, great effort and thank you mate. Our first event where we have deliberately gone through the council and booked and event on their land, its been plenty of hard work and a learning curve but sets us up even more for the future. Some more pics.. Info board Jeff in full flow Mark A on the Fly Pike Boat Pike on fluff Home camp Neil D with tools of the trade | |
