hampton court side, 300yds downstreem of the brigde, or cig-or-ate island, i vote 4 cigy island, getting old and the car parks is near, in case it rains to hard, or gets to cold Laughing

i would defo be up for it would prefer cig island as dont drive and easy for transport and also for people to park and there have been a couple fish coming out as i found out today as just back from there but nothing for me.
they seem to be coming out at there usual times (when it gets dark) so maybe fishing into dark a bit may pay off.a fish of just under 16lb came out weekend and a few smaller ones along that stretch..

Excuse my ignorance, but how many people can fish from fag island without falling over one another,
reason for asking, if it rains between now and the 10th, there will be other bods there.
if it goes to a vote i,m with Willie on this one and would prefer Hampton court side, 500 yards aint far to walk

as said would preffer cig island as lugging all my gear on transport is bad enough but whatever anyone fancys i shall b up for it as i have never fished the other side as am going to give the free moorings a go tomz night as had some nice fish from casting over to it from the other side.
i have had a walk down that side once when i fished the royal parks but only to the gate into the park but no further.
just be nice to meet people from on hear and have a bit on banter...

ahh so thats were the tea kit will be but i may, as im having a vintage tackle revival, bring my kelly kettle but im sort of thinking we might get our selves told off as it has a wood fire to work?

And yes im coming and may tuck myself away from the maddening crowd.

dont forget though chaps last time i fished here i caught a rare specis it was a dunlop dunlopiast. lol!

Oh yes i do have some very nice vintage reels for sale if anyone is intrested just pm me and we will have a chat.....
