| wandered along beverly brook with willie yesterday morning, it was interesting to see the flood line littered with plastic bags have been walking the dog along the ham car park to teddington stretch, and it all looks like you'd want it to, except for the dog pooh | |

| Saturday 30th April Hogsmill in Kingston where it joins the Thames up to St.James' Road bridge Hogsmill water very clear except large amount of grass cuttings started coming down as I watched. Thames a yucky brown. A few large carp below the weir (amongst the beer cans), lots of Chub above with at least one traffic cone. Coots nesting in the nesting areas provided. Detailed report with photo's in separate thread https://t-a-c.forumotion.com/t1076-hogsmill-at-kingston | |

nothing to report from my morning stroll from ham to teddington albany reach looked slightly the worse for wear after the weekend, and someone had deposited something in the bushes that long stay anglers normally get blamed for

| yesterday morning it was ham to teddington, and boy was it pleasant it seemed every type of bird was cheeping, a male blackbird entertained with a beak full of worms for his youngsters, the tits, and they are many and varied, seemed less inclined to disappear into the undergrowth as I passed, a mallard still had 6 youngsters in tow, and only a single boat passed | |

| Today Docket Eddy lane at Walton to Shepperton Weir, nothing to report, nice morning to be out and about.
Chertsey Bridge to the end of Laleham Reach. Very quiet, a few walkers enjoying the sunshine. River is low and rafts of what looks like silk weed in many marginal spots.
Walton Bridge area, nothing to report, river still a murky brown colour

| beverley brook walked the brook this morning, what a great job we done on sunday. better flow,no litter and the fish had smiles on their faces. i did notice however that i have to get in the park side of the brook as there is a lot of debris caught on the spikes that are under the bridge. obviously the spikes are there to catch the rubbish but i dont know when or how often the richmond park wardens get in their side of the brook and maintain it. i can do this myself, but a bit of company would be nice im thinking of doing this on friday. willie | |

| Cycled the towpath from Twickenham bridge to Kew Gardens Brentford Gate and back on Sunday afternoon, checking out the Mini-HaHa and in particular searching for a signpost labelling it as such which my neighbour has seen (didn't find it).
Not much rubbish in the Mini-haha beyond Richmond lock but quite a few fallen trees and branches blocking it in places. Towards the lower (Brentford) end it becomes narrow and clogged with duckweed before petering out. Didn't see any signs of illegal fishing.

| i walked along the sunbury stretch , kings lawn to flowerpot and up to the carpark / swing area sunbury backwater yesterday morning first thing , all was good , saw nobody fishing and the small amount of rubbish i did find i put in the bins . All seems good on this section ... Water still that orrible brown colour , and theres no flow whatsoever ... Stopped off to speak to the guys in the boatyard re boat hire , asked them if theyd seen anyone fishing the area recently and they said no . Im shocked to be honest , as last close season there were people there most days fishing ! Hopefully my 10 or so calls to the ea worked ?!?!? | |
