We are also carrying out other capital works on the waterway during 2011/12, please see below for details. These works will not affect you using the locks during the construction.
Rushey Paddle and Rymer weir - Replace with 3 radial gates plus raised cills on shorter section
Northmoor Paddle and Rymer weir - Replace with 4 radial gates and short fixed crest
Osney weir - Replace existing hand radials and similar and replace pedestrian walkway
Goring Paddle and Rymer weir - Replace with lightweight paddle and rymers and bank works
Streatley Paddle and Rymer weir - Replace with lightweight paddle and rymers on submerged penstock
Boveney – Continued bank protection works in the Boveney Reach.
Staines – Bank protection to the river bank adjacent to the gasworks and towpath.
Shepperton – Bank protection to the weir side of the lock island adjacent to the canoe slalom.
Sunbury Old Lock - refurbishment of old lock.
