Sorry, been a bit tied up.

I might not be around much this weekend, next weekend would suit me better (and looks like the same for Keith & Jack).

Out this morning with Colin, Keith and Jack.

Managed to sample Chertsey and Silversands, will post the results up later.

I headed down to Hampton Court after but was not great due to the high turbid water. Didn't go to Kingston as the deepest spot we sample and not worth the risk.

Will try again next weekend.

Seems a long time since we were talking about the drought.

Paul and me done some kicking at sayes court, the river Bourne, Addlestone, 1100hrs,

the results are quite good

Shrimp. b

Mayfly. b

Cased caddis. b

caddis a

a = 1 -10 b = 11 - 100

the water was a bit high, mideum to fast, 18" deep, gravel, no weeds

we had 2 big mayfly

the shrimp were big, would have lokked nice on a size 18 semee barbed hook with a 6Ib chub on the end Wink

Well done chaps.

Taking ownership of your river is brilliant, if you can find another spot as well even better, there may even be a CSO that's worth keeping an eye on.

I will keep a record along with the Thames sites Smile

cheers
