| what a complete shock ! had the pleasure of talking to kieth many times on the thames , when he use to fish the csas bit at Windsor . Always ready to have a cuppa and a chat , sometimes fishing is as much about the people you meet as the fishing itself . brilliant angler and a very nice human being .

| Didn't know Keith personally beyond meeting him at TAC events but very much enjoyed listening to all his stories and fishing advice. 'That' barbel on the float will always be one of the most remarkable captures in angling, although of course he'll be remembered by loved ones for more than fishing.
My condolences to all his family and those like Mike and Dave who knew him well as a friend.

| Keith was a one off.
A total gentleman and great friend to many anglers. His water craft and mastery of float tackle was second to none. He had an uncanny knack of being able to read the water in front of him as if he had some magical sixth sense, particularly rivers. He was certainly the most skilful all-round angler I've ever had the pleasure to meet and fish with. He could fish for carp, he was a wizard lure and jig fisherman and an excellent fluff flinger. But his main piscatorial passion in life was his float fishing, in particular for big roach and barbel.
Keith probably holds the biggest float caught barbel record of 17.15. But this was no fluke as he had a string of other very large barbel, all caught on the float and pin, to back this up.
Apart from being a very good angler he was also just such a lovely man.
God bless you Keith, we're gonna miss you. | |

| Went to Keith's funeral yesterday, must have been I don't know 150 people there, just shows the mark or the man.
Whilst very sad and felt for his wife and daughter I can even imagine, the eulogy by one of his close friends was filled with anecdotes and smiles, so lifted the day. Mike Wilson told a lovely tale of Keith when fishing, nice memories on a difficult day. Nice to meet up with friends and a few people I had not seen for a long time.
What he did was leave behind a legacy through the people he helped, how he got involved with promoting our sport and being a real ambassador for us.
Will never be forgotten
RIP Zanderman.
