| Does anyone no someone or got a fine sand blaster to take paint off, or if someone knows someone who does that kind of thing, I wont to re-paint a Mitchell 300, bring it up to looking like it was made yesterday  | |

| a sand blaster with give you a pitted finish if the metal is relatively soft, probably not what you want. And the grit will get in all bits of bearings and gears and wreck it.
Use medium-fine wet-and-dry and elbow grease. | |

| many thanks for all your input, about elbow grease, stuff that takes paint off, giving it a good rub, chuck it in the bin, get yourself a decent reel, the grit getting into places you dont wont grit to get to, yee yee heard it all before, I have found a place, took some doing, so might go there tomorrow and see if they are still open, I have made up a plasic cup thats fits in where the line spool goes, so dust is not a problum, right, get it striped of paint, then powder coated, then hand painted by me in the OMRLP colours,  , I will have the best looking Mitchell on the river banks | |
