You are invited to a River Basin Management Plan consultation workshop especially for the Crane Valley Partnership on Tuesday 10 February 2015. The workshop will be in the Environment Agency offices in Hatfield (Apollo Court, 2 Bishop Square, St. Albans Rd West, Hatfield, Herts AL10 9EX), from 10:30 – 16:00.
This will be an opportunity to have your say on the RBMP and what it means for water bodies in the Crane catchment. We will cover as many of the consultation questions as possible, but the focus will be on the objectives and actions for the Crane's water bodies. So it should also help us as a partnership to better understand the challenges and opportunities for the rivers in the catchment, and how we can work together.
A full agenda will follow nearer the time, but for the moment, could you please book your place by emailing me (amanda.maclean@environment-agency.gov.uk) or phoning me on 01707 632670 or 07557 190457, and book the day in your diaries? Please forward this email to any colleagues or other contacts who may also be interested in attending.
The
full consultation documents are here and a supplementary consultation pack for the Crane catchment can be
downloaded from the CVPwebsite, which contains the additional detail on our water bodies that we will be looking at on the day. If you are able to submit a preliminary response online before the workshop it would be very useful, so that I can tailor the workshop according to the issues raised.
And don't forget that there is also a
consultation on for the Flood Risk Management Plans, which closes at the end of January.
All the best, and looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Amanda MacLean
