Some of you will remember that the Association of Barbel Fishers (ABF) held a meeting last year at Basingstoke and that David was one of the speakers. The following has just been posted on their forum -

We have planned another Meet the Experts evening, again in the south. It will be at the same Basingstoke venue as last time, at the end of May

The panel will comprise Len Arbery, Ray Walton, Bob Harrington, Keith Speer and we will have a presentation from the Angling Trust's Mark Lloyd and Martin Salter.

I'll post further details as soon as they are available.

Plus a presentation by :

The Angling Trust – Mark Lloyd and Martin Salter

(The Voice of Angling)

An opportunity to find out first hand what the Trust does and what it can do for you.

The evening will consist of an open forum where Len, Ray, Keith, Bob and the representatives from the AT invite questions from the audience on any angling or AT issues.

Plus Jez Brown of Pallatrax and 'Lone Angler' (Trefor West and Tony Miles' new venture) will be present with a selection of bait, terminal tackle, rods and other equipment from their exciting new range.

Basingstoke Railway Social Club

Northside, Station Approach, Basingstoke, RG21 5NB.

7.00pm for a 7.30pm start

Full bar available in the private function room – bar will be closed during the actual event (but open in break)

Plenty of opportunity to chat with fellow anglers both before and after the event.

Non Members £5.00
