| today there was no flow at all in the trap the water level was well down in the lock channel. but steve had a tinker with the back weir and it had risen and trap was flowing when i left. there was however only 1 eel @75mm and 4 stomper crabs. | |

| Oi Oi Checked the trap today and a marvelous 64 little wrigglers, fantastic news And as I had the trap open after emptying it another 4 came up, one of them I saw come into the bottom from the river, never seen that before If anyone can get down tomorrow that would be great, Colin and Mike are doing Saturday but please post up if you can get down as well, time TBC | |

| Well, they're definitely on the move. I counted 174 of the little wrigglers today. No monsters and no other species either. All eels between 65 and 95mm. | |

| Thanks for getting down Neil, they are well on the move which is fantastic news. Tanks also to everyone who has been down so far this year and endured fruitless checks, its all counts.
I want to do another check tomorrow as well as Saturday because of the numbers. Saturday I cant do as working the next 6 odd weeks, anyone up for tomorrow, happy to do it if not.
Saturday can I suggest 11am meet for whoever is coming down. | |

| Thanks Patrick
Ed are you going down as well tomorrow, can you take a look and anyone have any hose pipe in the interim, I can get down Sunday only as working tomorrow and for the next month. The flow has been fed back to the ZSL and EA a number of times now.
Also got to think that Thames Water are abstracting water not far upstream and will be having a major impact in low water conditions.

| todays result 15: 5@70 5@75 3@80 1@85 and 1@90. again very little flow first thing but that picked up through the day, we need to get that siphon running again as a precaution to low levels. its virtually impossible to do by yourself need go go gadget arms 20 feet long. | |
