Tuesday 14th May - TAC AGM 2013

Pleased to announce that the TAC AGM will be held of the 14th May 2013 at the Bagster House CIU Club, Walton.

7pm for a 7.30pm start

The AGM will start promptly at 7.30pm until 8.30pm and include an update from Stuart our EA West Thames fisheries officer, the agenda will be available here prior to the meeting

We are delighted to announce that from 9pm TAC Patron and Carp Legend Mike Wilson will be doing a question and answer session. Mike's knowledge of Carp fishing history is second to none and is one of the of the pioneers our sport from his time on Savay Lakes. If you have been to one of Mike's talks before you will know how engrossing and engaging they are, we are very much looking forward to welcoming him back for another evening.

Hope to see as many of you there as possible

Thanks to everyone who came last night, very good evening, great social.

It's always quite a build up for us, making sure it all goes to planned, preparing the slides, talk etc, but all good.

Special thanks to Mike Wilson for another brilliant talk, every time we learn more about the history of our sport. Last night talking about experimenting with bait flavours back in the 70's amongst many other things, legendary. Thank you Mike.

Maybe he should have been doing one!

It was a good evening Stephen, and as ever, it gives us all a chance to put a few faces to names and get involved in all manner of fishy talk. Mike's talks are supurb and I'm sure the Hearn-Meister enjoys the fact that he can just turn up, on an informal basis, and have a few laughs among fellow Thames anglers, which is what it's all about really.
