Wot no flash floods?

Last night the weather man assured us there would be a deluge capable of causing flash floods accompanied by thunder & lightning, starting off from around midnight until rush hour this morning. I was thinking about being ready to be called out for a TAC emergency.

The ground isn't even wet!

I know I know, be careful what you wish for...

Think it may be the norm like the last few years, wishing for A bit of flow on the river then next wishing it wasn't bursting it's banks and Almost unfishable due to weed rafts lol last year was a nightmare when the rain finally came, nice bit of flow this morning and my local river was gushing through although it runs off quick....

Itching to get the rods out!!

at penton hook today, water level has gone down by around 2/3" since sunday , i use the board on the entrance of the small river inlet i clean out to get my messiments
