new oil discovery in gatwick

What do we think about exploiting this new oil reservoir under surrey? If its viable it will produce thousands of jobs and billions of pounds in revenue. What sort of safety can be assured for the river mole which rises near there?

they have had a site around that area for years, taking oil out, but have keeped it a bit quite, there is also a lot of oil under/around Windsor area, but cannot see them putting a oil pump out side the Queens bedroom

I think it is the same field they have been taking oil from for years in Pool Harbour (Shell Island?) - you wouldn't know it was there.

Rather deep drilling than fracking.
