Came across this article just now, outlining the use of water from the Thames at Kingston to create green power and warmth and the like for some yuppy apartments. Which is lovely, but hopefully not detrimental to the river. Anyone got any further thoughts on this?

my think is; 540 tons of water per hour is being turned 3 degrees warmer in the summer and 3 degrees colder in the winter. plus need to find out how many fry are gonna end up plastered onto the "filters" that's quite a lot of water i reckon; about a big skipfull a minute.
