A six-month trial in which a private parking firm has been brought in to tighten regulation of moorings on the non-tidal river has been extended.

Restrictions have been imposed at Environment Agency moorings at Weybridge Towpath, Walton Wharf and nearby Desborough Island. Boaters who overstay are liable to £100 penalties and possible court action.

Maybe they will bring it downstream to Teddington.

Ed we stopped at Shepperton and paid the extra for 2 days but the locky didn`t have a clue what to charge or why we needed top report our time of arrival ,seems to me they are getting the EA to do the groundwork of timing whilst the guys turn up to nick you for oiverstaying [quite rightly to ] but without telling the EA lockies what they are spoused to do...typically unjoined up.
hate pikey liveaboards but can`t see this helping as only registered boats with an address can be summouned I suspect .
Tow the old wrecks away and sell em for scrap ,lots of them starting to congregate at the lawns round back of dessie island when we left
