Afternoon All,

I have recently been in contact with the new Fisheries Manager at Apps Court Farm and he is up for hosting a TAC match during the close season.

I am just awaiting a few more details but wondered what peoples thoughts were and who would be up for it or even having a fih in/social event.

Once I have full details of dates/Prices etc I will let you all know.

Just a quick note about Apps court
If a match can be sorted remember Sundays are car boot sale days.If its dry the road past the lake is very dusty and very busy,but if you dont catch you can sell your tackle at the boot sale Laughing

good point about the car boot, its very hectic and noisy so a Saturday would def be better.

Maybe we could fish the match early morning to afternoon and then if anyone fancied it we could nip across to the specimane lake for a crack at the carp and cats in there

Im just waiting for a reply back from the manager regarding costs for the day. I was wondering what dates would suit everyone, Especially the Essex lads. I was thinking maybe near the end of may so that the Fishery can advertise and give notice to other anglers that the lake will be used for a match

End of May will be fine for me, but I'm retired so can basically go anytime......are non TAC members allowed?

28 is a monday willie the sat are the 19 (the day after i return from turkey with family will need to relax)or the 26th mate im up for either

Morning all,

The fishery Manager has confirmed that each peg for the match will cost £8. He has asked for a date and I have asked for Saturday May 26th so that we dont have the Boot Sale traffic and disruption. I am just awaiting confirmation that this is ok but all looks good.

Regarding times would a 9am start be good for everyone with an 8am meet?

Can you please PM me if you are interested in fishing. if you are going to be part of the Essex team can you tell me in your PM that you are so that I know, Sorry lads I dont know all your names.

I fished there last Sunday, wasn't impressed but willing to give it another go. I will let others form there own opinions. I take it we will need 2 keep nets each.
