| I have just been over Penton Hook for a walk and the are loads of fish in the end of the channel where the pipe is, mostly two inch dace and a few one pounders. Threw small pieces of bread in and they scoffed it, will try to put a video on here. | |

| My wife and Michael went for a walk over Penton hook, looks like there's a pike in spawning channel.....also someone chucked in loads of branches. Michael managed to take a few of the smaller ones out and we'll go over tomorrow and move the three larger ones. Hope this is ok. | |

Going by the amount of effort we put into clearing it of branches in the first place I would assume that the channel should be clear. Clean, oxygenated gravel is what we want and any branches will hold up the flow. I'd say go for it Colin. | |

| Yep agree mate, cheers Colin. I am down there on Monday as well to have a look The EA are going to be putting up signs giving it some sort of protected status, really just make visitors aware it is an important nursery ground, and how important the habitat is to the main river. Also the fences are to be repaired, all good folks | |
