| These are important to get down to and check out what is be proposed to clean up the river.
More dates are available and will post them as well. If you get down , make sure you let the organisers know you are a TAC member and support the project.
Without the tunnel the Thames will continue suffer | |

| Just got in from the Thames Tunnel public exhibition held at Linden House, I will not bore you all with the mind numbing garbage that this guy was spilling out, but three things he said, really do need repeating, Firstly, he had never heard of the TAC, i had to explain to him what it was and what it is about. Secondly, He said, he had no knowledge of any residue being left on the foreshore. Thirdly, (and this made me walk out), when i mentioned the fish kill on the 6th of June, he grandly stated, that some of his colleagues were on the bank at Hammersmith Bridge trying to save as many fish as possible with buckets. This bloke had a name badge, "John" (he probably needed it to remind himself who he was), i never asked for his full name, he would more likely have said Mr Smith. Did notice the rather large coloured gentleman on the door though, methinks they were expecting trouble. | |

| No Dave, no nasty pictures, just your usual corporate garbage, "Helicopter shots of preferred sites, detailed drawings of pipes and drains, no mention at all of the local environment, no mention at all of the damage they,ve caused, just a typical corporate shindig, they even had a bit of blonde totty on show with a skirt so far up her jacksy, when she bent over you could see all her "Old Holborn | |

| I raised the question of it being to nice and not hard hitting, obviously the ignored it. Think another communication is in order. Makes me wonder how difficult it can be to get the real message across, the TAC have done more to promote the Thames Tunnel and cleaning up the river than any other organisation. Maybe we need a change of approach. TEP news letter out today, see page 25. http://www.thamesweb.com/tep-docs/doc_download/145-talk-of-the-thames-autumn-2011.html | |
