| ed, despite all the last minute, it would've worked a treat except for the wind, your printing of all the letters was pukka people on the bank and on the bridges at richmond, waved and shouted their support to us, the canoe/rowing clubs did the same, and pics were being taken by loads of people the film crews in the support vessels filmed us, itv crews fiilmed us, a bbc reporter used the boat with banner flying as a backdrop, but we never made it onto tv and all because we couldn't continue, absolutely gutted to put so much effort in, only to fail because we couldn't do a few more hours
I'll get on jeffs case to post pics up

| The good thing to come out of this event has been the issue of sewage hitting the agenda. The 500,000 cubic metres of sewage making the press was thanks to a contact through the TAC and us hassling Thames Water for the data.
The fight goes on though, we cant let it drop as history shows it is quickly forgotten.
Well done to DW raising an incredible amount of money.

| different horses for different courses buddy, a boat for me is about catching fish, grounding out, bumping into things, getting swiped by branches all part of the fun, if I wanted to look good in a gin palace I'd stick with the thames, 'cause thames gin palaces all look mickey mouse moored up in the south of france | |

| Perhaps make him an honory member for all that he's done (albeit unintentionally) to hi-light the poor state of our capital's river? | |
