After the litter pick today Danny the Lock Keeper kindly offered to show the juniors in attendance his Peregrine Falcon.
It gets even better,they all got to hold this wonderful bird.
A just reward for their hard work that morning.
Many thanks to Danny for making this experience possible and well done to all the juniors for helping out this morning.

well done on the litter pick and the locky taking time to show the youngsters his raptor ,Spent a day with a mate flying his Goshawk against Pheasants and they explode from the glove once they have seen the target ,You can actually hear the hit if it`s not to windy .
Those kids will remeber that day thats for sure ,hawk conservancy trust near Andover is a great day out to see that sort of thing Steve
