| Chaps Been mentioned a few times about getting out to walk the foreshore downstream of Teddington so lets get it in the diary. Saturday 9th looks ideal as the low is at 2:30pm, so we can meet up and walk it late morning, say 11am. Suggest meeting at Teddington lock and walking down to Ham Car Park and back, can go further on but lets judge it at the time. It is going to be quite dependent on the non-tidal river not rising this coming week. Suggestion from James Mitchell is that we do some visual surveys of the shell life, depressed mussel and the like, invasives such as Asiatic Clams. Adds another dimension whilst lead and feeder hunting plus mapping those swims Should be fun.

| The tide is low enough to walk the shore-line quite a while before official low tide time - for example it was low enough at Richmond to expose a moped dumped next to Twickenham bridge at 9:30am this morning, but the official low tide time isn't until 13:51. I've logged it with the council via http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/401097 - but will bring some ropes to lift it out with in case we make it down that far - the bank wall is quite high there. | |

| Been coming down all week, and today, and it looks like tomorrow as well!
Maybe take a rain-check and see if it improves for next week? | |

| 11am sharp at Teddington lock for those brave enough, suggest wet weather gear See you there, or... I will enjoy the walk on my own , hope the level is low enough to make it worth it | |
