| Is this longer than usual? Do we know if they are doing any substantial work on the lock? | |

| I think it's about normal, just over 3 weeks. The last couple of years they had some major works so it was longer. 2012 was 27th October - 9th December. 2011 was 6th November to 27th November then extended to 19th December. 2010 was 31st October to 28th November. I am expecting that Thames Water will finally fix "my" CSO this year though. https://t-a-c.forumotion.com/t685-sewage-flowing-in-to-thames-at-twickenham-bridge | |

| Not long now folks, think we should arrange a walk, could be fun. If its a decent time of day, maybe a shandy afterwards?
Will get some dates, times up.

| Looking at present river conditions and a lot more rain due end of this week it's not looking good for opening day at the moment . But it's the same every start of the run off it seems . Sorry for my negative post , just been waiting for Saturday for ages now and looks like ill have to be barbel fishing instead .
Is anyone out Saturday lunchtime for the "all in?"

| You're right Adrian. The depth at low tide downstream of Richmond Lock has increased by 1 metre in 24 hours. | |

.In the last 6 years Dave, inc. two wash-outs, I have never known it to get 'too' busy... it surprises me every draw-off. Richard

| Not seen any notices about it being extended, it ends on Sunday night as far as I know.
The stolen moped is still there at the foot of Twickenham road bridge. Hopefully the council or police will remove it before the weekend. If not I intend to get down there with some ropes and try to unofficially haul it out on Saturday or Sunday. Anyone else up for it?

It's still there, there is a rope attached as if someone has tried to remove it but failed. Last low tide of the draw-off is tomorrow is at 2pm so need a couple of people to meet me there around that time and we will finish the job. Park in Ranelagh Drive - turn left off the A316 down "The Avenue" just before Twickenham road bridge.
