Superb article on page 10 in the Angling Times today written by Keith Arthur, singing the TAC's praises.

Extracts like this:

"I spent a very pleasant evening in good company at the Annual General Meeting of the Thames Anglers' Conservancy.

The free-to-join group is not much more than two years old, has 1,400 members and is a magnificient success story. If David Cameron wanted a model for his 'Big Society', then the TAC is it. It is affiliated to the Angling Trust and carries out work voluntarily along the lower Thames and its tributaries."

Then talking about the Crane pollution....

"Although the EA has offered to introduce fish to the Crane, TAC have deferred this because its research proves that there is no natural food for them.

So how much is that worth, taking the Wandle half-a-million quid as a yardstick? One thing's for sure: TAC will be on the case."

There's a lot more about us and our work but you get the idea Very Happy

I no longer read any of the weekly/monthly publications, but I may make an exception this week.
