| Following the recent devastation on the Crane, we are trying to find out where all the CSO's are on the Thames tributaries.
Its not an easy question as there are some many tribs feeding tribs but are going to find out.
So tell us about your local river, where is it, has it had any previous history of pollution, or just a lovely little waterway. Do you have any concerns, whats the rubbish like and more.
The more we know, the better equipped we are for the future folks

Close....but no cigar. You stick to catching fish just mere fractions off the Thames record mate

| Keith it is worth investigating further up and see if you can find the source. It looks like a clay run off or something. Def not right.
Not sure who the EA catchment officer is, so will find out.

| I cleared along that bank during the litter pack a couple of months back & noticed the orange colour around that outfall, although there was far less of it back then & no flow coming from it.
I've also noticed a similar orangey colour in other parts of the Bourne & on other streams & rivers & wondered what it was (guessed it had something to do with iron salts leaching out of the soil or elsewhere).

| Keith i have checked out the Bourne and it is naturally occuring, something that is known as Iron bacteria. Where the river runs through iron deposits, not harmfull.
The EA team are the ones we know the best, so sending phtos across to get it visually checked as well
